A Complete Skin Care Routine for Dry Skin

Dry skin is very uncomfortable and especially when it comes to wearing makeup. It is very confusing, but there is a very big difference between dry skin and dehydrated skin. The cause for dry skin can be lack of natural oils for hydrating skin. Dehydrated skin is temporary.

Our skin produces natural oil, sebum that helps to protect skin and keep moisturized. Consuming less water or climate can be reason for interrupting effects of sebum.


Best Routine for Dry Skin Care:


  1. Use a Gentle Cleanser

Using a mild and importantly a natural cleanser is safe. Removing all the pollutants, dirt, excess oil and makeup in the first place. Select a product that will suit your skin type.

A better way to do it is by using lukewarm water and a gentle massage. Rinse off and tap dry, also remember to use a clean towel.

As the name says, it helps to keep the skin moisturized. Dry skin likes to soak up rich creams and moisturizers. Massage into the face using short, circular motions and don’t forget to extend coverage down to your neck.

In today’s time, sunscreen are made with very less oil for its lightweight use on the face without clogging pores and causing breakouts. Also remember to buy a sunscreen with at least 30 SPF to get most of its coverage.

4. Stay Hydrated

 Hydrated Skin is the key to healthy looking skin. Need to keep your face moisturized and let sebum work efficiently to avoid and complications.

And also similarly drink plenty water required to keep it hydrated at night a well. When your skin fells dry and tight, give it a splash of water to keep it hydrated overnight.

 5. Overnight Care

Using nourishing products at the day time is beneficial, but why not treat it overnight. Getting the correct amount of sleep can be one of the best thing as that is the time when the process of skin renewal happens. Using a night cream can give an extra boost to your skin.


 6. Be Consistent

If you follow your skin care routine without fail, then the results will be amazingly clear and fresh. Being consistent is very important as if you do not follow it regularly nothing will change positively.
